About us
Hello dear interested visitor!
It is of course logical,
that you may be interested in those who have written this blog, so we will briefly
introduce ourselves. We are five medical students (Jip, Pepijn, Jodie, Inge
& Mirre) attending our third year at the Leiden University Medical Centre in
the beautiful city Leiden.
We have a special interest in the microbiome and its influence on our body, that is why we made this WebBlog.
The weblog writers:
- Mirre Verstegen: 'Microbiome and Clostridium difficile infection' and 'Faeces a cure?'
- Jodie Dekker: 'Parkinson's Disease, cause in the brain or gut?' and 'Parkinson's Disease and the microbiome'
- Inge van Eijsden: 'Fecal transplantation in Ulcerative Colitis'
- Pepijn Gossink: 'Diet to change your microbiome', 'Prebiotics, probiotics and symbiotics' and 'Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)'
- Jip de Weijer: 'A rol for the microbiome in Multiple Sclerosis?' and 'Fecal microbiota transplantation in MS'
